What a washer service usually involves
Washer problems have a way of piling up laundry in a hurry. Maybe the machine won't drain, won't spin, leaves clothes soaking wet, leaks water, makes an unusual noise, or simply refuses to start. Sometimes the problem is straightforward, while other times it takes a little more investigation to figure out what's going on. When I arrive, I'll work to identify the cause and explain what I've found in terms that make sense, without burying you in technical jargon.
As the owner and technician of Alpha Appliance Service, I believe you deserve an honest answer about your washer and what it will take to get it running again. I'll go over the repair options, expected costs, and whether the repair makes practical sense for your machine. Some problems can be resolved on the spot, while others require parts or additional work. Either way, I'll help you understand the situation so you can decide how you'd like to proceed.
I work on most common household brands — Amana, Whirlpool, Maytag, Kenmore, Frigidaire, Electrolux, GE, LG, Samsung and Speed Queen. Laundry is where I do work on LG. I do not take on boutique or luxury machines such as Bosch and Miele, or commercial, RV and medical-grade equipment. If a washer is not worth what the repair would cost, I will say so.
